Description

Flaum's, end this Chillul Hashem now!

Flaum's makes products that consumers all over the country enjoy. Their generous philanthropy supports moral and significant causes
and is a great source of pride for Israel and Jewish institutions around the world. They are an important and respected leader of the Jewish community.

That said, we are deeply troubled that it is alleged that Flaum’s demonstrated a pattern of exploiting undocumented workers, not paying them overtime and denying them days off.

We are deeply troubled that when those workers stood up for better treatment, they were all illegally fired.

We are deeply troubled that legal bodies in the United States have ordered Flaum’s to pay restitution to these workers, and they have yet to comply with these orders.

We are deeply troubled that Flaum's and Mr. Grudhut tried to use anti-immigrant stalling tactics to avoid complying with a
court order, and the NLRB has recently ruled this to be invalid.

We ask the following: Please pay the fully money you owe your workers in fines and back wages or negotiate a settlement.

Until this happens, we feel compelled to refrain from purchasing or
consuming your products. We will also inform others of our choice and encourage them to also purchase in accordance with the Jewish value of tzedek.

****We have told Aron's Kissena Farms about this issue, and have asked them to pull the products from the shelves until the dispute is resolved through a payment or settlement. They have not agreed to do so.******

This rally is to express community concern regarding the sale of Flaum Appetizing/Sonny and Joe’s products in Aron's Kissena Farms.

Please join us to ask Aron's to use their influence with Flaum to bring the company into compliance with the law and encourage Mr. Grudhut to obey the order of the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
