Today, as consumers, we have the option to buy ethically. With the understanding that the production of many products involves the exploitation of workers, animals, and the environment, many have in fact made it their responsibility to buy ethically produced goods.

Before the holiday of Shavuot it behooves us to learn more about how our produce gets from the ground to our plates.
