Join Uri L'Tzedek and Jews Against Hydrofracking for a film screening of award-winning documentary!

What would it be like to wake up in the morning and realize that if you held a match near kitchen's running faucet, it would light in a blaze of chemical fury?  For many Americans living near hydrofracking sites, this is not a hypothetical question.  Join Uri L'Tzedek as they partner with Jews Against Hydrofracking and The JCC in Manhattan for a film screening of Gasland, an HBO film about Hydrofracking introduced by Sustainability Champion Jessica Haller for this upcoming Social Justice Beit Midrash Program. Part travelogue, part expose, Gasland traces the process of fracking from Saudi Arabia to Pennsylvania.  There will be petitions to sign and action steps to take and we hope to see you there! The event will take place at the JCC Manhattan at 7PM on Wednesday, May 9th.
