Islamophobia has tragically become one of the defining features of the lives of Muslim-Americans. It is a Jewish imperative to stand up against prejudice and bigotry in all its forms. In the tradition of Torah im Derech Eretz, here is a collection of mekorot presenting a number of Jewish perspectives on Islam and Jewish communal relations with those of other faiths, as well as a number of ways you can take action on this critical issue.
- Think critically about the way you and those around you talk about the other.
- Share sources and open up discussions with friends and community about this issue.
- Host a Jewish-Muslim bridge-building event.
